Cygnus FMD for Diver
Purpose-built for Flooded Member Inspection (FMI), this Cygnus FMD system detects any ingress of water or 'flood' in subsea structural members using ultrasound. This ultrasonic testing (UT) solution boasts clever software and electronics combined with a truly easy-to-use interface to give a clear DRY or FLOODED result. Once the subsea units are deployed, Cygnus FMD system runs a test using the FMD reporting software at the surface and shows a simple DRY (Green) or FLOODED (Red) result with A-scans for further verification. The results are logged for analysis or reporting as PDF and Excel.
